Time & Payroll Module Tab View:  Menus and action items located in Tree View on left. Right panel contains Details and Help. For Help, click the Help Panel then click on any item in the Tree View
Review Timesheets Overview:  A list of employees reporting to the selected Supervisor appear on the left. The cells to the right display the number of payable hours worked for the specific day. All cells are color coded to enable quick visual verification. To open a timesheet double-click on the timesheet cell.
Timesheet: Details of a single employee for a specific date. The employee identity, payroll rule and schedule assignments are located at the top of the form.  The start time, customer job, activity, duration and pay type is included for each line item.  Additional ancillary fields may also appear on the timesheet including quantities, part numbers, Estimated time to complete, notes, etc. Payable time is calculated consistent with assigned payroll rules.  To edit, double-click on a cell. To approve or reapprove click Approve button.
Redistribution of overtime: Overtime is automatically distributed within the workday based upon overtime priority assignments. This screen allows the redistribution of over time to other days in the week. For example it is possible to move the overtime that occurred on Saturday to Tuesday if desired.
View Employees:  Quick access to the employee list. Access to sensitive information such as payroll information is controlled by user login rights. The at-a-glance panel provides a quick view of the key information associated with the selected employee. Click New, Edit or double-click to open the employee record.
Employee Record: Employee information is presented on tabs. The employee assignments: Manager, Supervisor, Work Group, Schedule are provided on drop-down lists.
Employee Record: Payroll information is provided on a separate Tab (restricted access by user security settings). TracManager may be configured to track worker's compensation costs by employee or by activity. If tracking by employee, the assignment is presented on a drop-down list.
Customer Record: Customer records included the usual contact information. The website and email fields are hot links; double-click to send an email or view the customer's website.
Central Center: Customers are organized alphabetically in folders. Click on the folder node to expand the customer list. Click on a customer name to show all related information for the selected customer.  Choose other detail views from the drop-down list.
Prevailing Wage Set up: Create custom Prevailing Wage rates and assign these rates by employee, labor activity or labor activity group.
Employee Schedule: Schedules include the punch In/Out adjustment values which are applied before any other rules.  Supports individual policy setting for Tardy and holidays.
Worker's Compensation Set up: Create custom worker's compensation risk categories. Track and report by employee, or labor activity.
Holidays: Create company paid holidays. Supports multiple lists such as a list for union vs. non-union, employees who work four ten hour days, and a list for employees work work five eight hour days.
Labor Activities List: View list of activities, click to view at-a-glance details, double-click to open.
Labor activity record: Each activity has a unique code and description and is assigned to a parent (Group) and grand parent (Classification), worker's compensation code.
pcTrac Administration: Each pcTrac user is assigned an individual user login and password. User privileges are assigned along with the desired timesheet fields to appear on the employee's pcTrac timesheet.
Payroll Rules - Weekly Overtime Rule: Create as many exempt and non-exempt payroll rules as desired.  The Weekly OT tab allows entry of the overtime and double-time hours.  Check the check boxes to include holiday, sick, vacation etc toward the total overtime hours threshhold.
Payroll Rules - Daily Overtime Rule:  The rule is applied to each day of the week, plus sequential days of work. Includes overtime, shift differential or premium, and out-of-schedule adjustments.
